COMMUNICATION. It is critical in any relationship, and it isn't exclusive to humans. For three years, I have been helping hundreds of dog owners learn how to communicate and bond with their pets in ways they never thought possible.
My journey began six years ago when I invited Dom, Lettie, and Hobbs into my home- three lab mix puppies. Over the next few years, my husband and I fostered over 60 dogs--from Neapolitan Mastiffs to a Chihuahua; from young pups to seniors; and "easy" dogs to ones with behavioral issues. By fostering these dogs, I learned a great deal about what works and does not when acclimating a dog into your household.
While fostering, I also volunteered at local animal shelters and rescues. Eventually, I got involved in the training of dogs. Every dog's unique personality and experience require different approaches and techniques for thorough communication. It is my goal to improve the bond between canines and humans. Many dogs end up in shelters simply because they are misunderstood.
I have four children of my own and understand how challenging it can be to strike a balance between raising a family and creating structure for your furry family member as well. Whether you just brought home a new puppy and want to set them up for a lifetime of success, or you want to correct an older dog who is set in his ways, I am here to provide support and guide you, as you achieve balanced behaviors through leadership and understanding from both perspective

Every dog is different and progresses at different rates. I always tell clients there are many factors that contribute to the length of training. It largely depends on what behaviors we are trying to fix, and how consistent the owner is in-between sessions.
Private lessons are my most popular program. The first session usually lasts between an hour and a half and two hours. This is because the first session I am getting to know your dog. Initial introductions can take some time. I like to take introductions slow to ensure I am not stressing the dog out too much initially. Each private lesson after the first initial introduction will be an hour long.
For the best results, and success, I suggest scheduling private lessons with me either once a week, or once every two weeks. This gives you, the owner, time to practice the homework I give you. I am always available to answer any questions or issues that may arise during this process.
I work with all dogs; both big and small, young and old.
All private lessons will be scheduled either at the client's residence, or at an off-site location. An off-site location could consist of a park, or public business who allows dogs on the premises.
We love caring for pets! Schedule right here on our site for a meet and greet, or to make any pet services appointment. If you have a special request, send us a message, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
